Golden Acorn Casino Re-Branding

Challenge:
Acorn Casino and Travel Center had been open for 8 years and was experiencing a decrease in player revenues. Additionally the casino messaging was inconsistent throughout all departments and was in need of a re-branding campaign to tie all the casino amenities together into one consistent message.

Strategy:
Advanced Marketing Strategies developed an integrated brand campaign focused on the “golden” name. Messaging internally and externally communicated the “golden rules” and benefits to players of the casino, restaurant, bar and travel center (which included a gas stations, mini-mart & trucker’s lounge).

AMS implemented the campaign in both English and Spanish through a strategic mix of radio, TV, newspaper, direct mail, emails, online, mobile and in-casino advertising.

Results:
Within the first 3 months of the campaign launching, player coin-in increased by an average of 7% per month from the same time frame in 2009. Additionally, player coin-in from the casino’s mobile subscribers increased by 125% over a 6 month period.
