We Want to Buy Your Car Campaign
Advanced Marketing Strategies created and launched an integrated marketing campaign enticing consumers to sell Mossy Nissan their car called “We Want to Buy Your Car”. AMS researched the competition and identified Mossy Nissan’s unique points of difference in the marketplace. The campaign included television, radio, OTT, social media, digital ads, emails and website landing pages.
New car inventory shortages started hitting Mossy Nissan dealer lots in later summer/early fall 2020. Mossy Nissan needed to increase inventory units on the used car side to sell to customers since new car inventory was predicted at the time to be an issue until Spring 2021. As a result, the demand to buy used cars was high and very competitive – causing trade-in values to soar to an all time high. For the first time in decades customers could sell their car for more than they owed on their vehicles.
Within 3 months of the campaign launching, vehicle trade-ins tripled. The campaign continued to run in to 2022, as inventory shortages are an ongoing challenge. Trade-in deal continue to remain steady at the new tripled benchmark each month.
